To operate the PVD coating systems of Vacotec the visualisation software AlphaControl is used. It serves as an interface between user and system. The visualisation allows manual operator actions and automatic processes and thus ensures a reproducible and high quality standard.

In conjunction with the system controller AlphaControl records the actual values of measuring devices, stores temporal trends and reports errors.

The user interface is easy to learn even for inexperienced operators.
