General Characteristics
The alpha900P represents the first series of a new generation of high throughput arc coating machines. High efficiency due to cheaper consumables and rapidly exchangeable components are only two major advantages of this system. In-situ plasma nitriding is possible as well as the deposition of all contemporary mono, multi and nano-structured layers.

Application
The alpha900P is intended for the following use:

• as an efficient coating machine with high throughput in addition to existing machinery of ambitious companies
• for use in in-line systems from original equipment manufacturers (OEM) for the production of hobs, shaper cutters, shank tools as well as punching and forming tools

• Proven Eifeler technology for all standard layers such as TiN, TiCN, CrN, CrCN and the latest hard coatings such as EXXTRAL, VARIANTA, VARIANTIC, SUPRAL and KORAL.

Technique
Short cycle times through a high performance pumping system as well as powerful radiant heaters. Plasma nitriding by a plasma source.

Charging System
Fast and easy batch changes. An optimal load is achieved through the use of different add-ons.

Maintenance and Service
Low maintenance and good access to all major components, effortless exchange of targets (cathodes).
Access to the data is possible throughout the process as well as through remote control for remote maintenance.
