alpha200 PVD Coating System

General Characteristics
The catchy visualization and a computerized process control ensure easy operation of the plant and a reproducible and high quality standard.
Application
- smaller coating centres as low budget machine
- in the R&D department of tool manufacturer as experimental machine
- in research departments of universities as laboratory machine
- in the production line of OEM manufactures as a supplement to high throughput coating systems
Technology
The process technology allows the deposition of mono- and multi-layers as well as structured layering systems. The SPCS upgrade is optional.
The following thin films can be deposited economically and in high quality:
- All standard layers like TiN, TiCN, CrN, ZrN, CrCN, TiALN, AiTiN and state-of-the-art hard coating like EXXTRAL, VARIANTA, VARIANTIC, SUPRAL and KORAL
- Nano-structured layers like EXXTRAL PLUS, EXXTRAL PLUS/EXX, EXTRAL silver, TIGRAL and SISTRAL
- WC/C (lubricating) coating deposition by arc evaporators
Technique
