In the Swiss canton Neuchâtel, embedded in the beautiful landscape between Biel and Geneva, a remarkable high-tech area is developed. 

That is where vacuum specialist and plant manufacturer Vacotec can be found also.

In the "watch city" of La Chaux-de-Fonds a high-qualified team creates and builds vacuum coating plants as well as special vacuum equipment and thus gained significant attention in the international market. The speciality of Vacotec was and is the assembly of sophisticated special plants for the international market, often in close collaboration with Swiss research institutes.

Vacotec also maintains very good relations with high-ranking international research institutes, to realize technically sophisticated projects. In the area around Neuchâtel there are also many opportunities for cooperation in the field of coating technology.

Since July 2006 Vacotec has become a 100 percent subsidiary of the Eifeler Holding GmbH & Co KG and therewith extends the Eifeler group as plant manufacturer. With approximately 600 employees worldwide, the Eifeler Group presents oneself as job coater with its own plant engineering.

Eifeler has now its own, not too big and thus very flexible, plant engineer company which can quickly address the specific requirements of its own service centres and external customers.
